About The Position

Dent Wizard is seeking an experienced Auto Body Paint Technician to join their growing team. This role involves performing high-quality minor automotive reconditioning activities such as paint touch-ups to full surface repairs using advanced spray equipment and proven techniques. The technician will prep, blend, and finish vehicle surfaces to perfection, working independently at partner locations like dealerships, rental agencies, and auctions. The position offers uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to manage your day without micromanagement. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered. All candidates selected for an offer will undergo post-offer, pre-employment screening appropriate to the role, which may include a physical examination, vision assessment, background check, and drug screening. Technicians are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of a respirator.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in collision repair or bodywork
Strong attention to detail and color accuracy
Self-motivation, grit, and a strong work ethic
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 45 lbs
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Experience with advanced spray equipment
Experience with color matching systems
Certifications with PPG, BASF, or similar

Responsibilities
