About The Position

Classic Collision is hiring an Auto Body Detailer to complete vehicle detailing after repairs and help ensure vehicles meet the company’s quality and service standards. The role includes cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors, inspecting repaired areas, maintaining detail supplies, and performing finishing work such as polishing, buffing, nibbing, and minor paint work. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Automotive buffing experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Demonstrate integrity, respect, and accountability.
• Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
• Demonstrate innovative approaches and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean the interior and exterior of each vehicle, including windows.
• Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in repaired areas.
• Perform complete detailing after vehicle repairs have been completed.
• Organize and maintain the inventory of detail department supplies.
• Maintain service standards and quality requirements.
• Stage vehicles, including tapping and cutting.
• Perform polishing, buffing, and nibbing.
• Perform minor paint work and minor painting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
