Auto Body Collision Technician

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, and squatting to complete or inspect repairs
- Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
- Performing repetitive motions
Nice To Haves
- Auto body repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Learn every aspect of auto body repair from disassembly to refinish
- Be mentored by highly trained, I-CAR certified technicians
- Undergo evaluation after a 12-16 month period for consideration of full-time employment
- Receive a starter kit of trade-specific tools worth $2,000 to use during the apprenticeship, with the possibility of keeping them upon successful completion
- Perform all other assigned duties
