About The Position

G & C Auto Body is hiring an experienced Auto Body Collision Technician to perform collision repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. This is not an entry-level position. The technician will handle a range of repairs at a well-equipped shop, including teardown and reassembly, welding, panel replacement, grinding, sanding, filling repair panels, and framework. Additional duties may be assigned to support efficient, high-quality repairs. The role offers consistent weekday hours, ongoing education and training, and the opportunity to coach an apprentice technician.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a collision repair organization.
Read and interpret written repair orders.
Attention to detail and pride in work.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR certifications; they are a plus but are not required for all positions.

Responsibilities

Restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Perform vehicle teardown and reassembly.
Weld and replace panels.
Grind, sand, and fill repair panels.
Perform framework repairs.
Complete additional duties as assigned to ensure efficient, quality repairs.
Potentially coach an apprentice technician.

Expected annual pay of $80,000–$150,000, including an hourly rate of $30–$36 and eligibility for variable production-based bonuses expected to range from $2,400–$4,500 per month.
