About The Position
Our client, a highly respected national property and casualty insurance organization, is seeking Auto Claims Adjusters to join their claims team through a contract-to-hire opportunity. As an Associate Auto Claims Adjuster, you will play an important role in supporting policyholders through the claims process following an unexpected loss. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of customer service, financial services, insurance, hospitality, or related experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused approach with strong empathy and professionalism
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
- High level of adaptability and emotional intelligence
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and service excellence
Responsibilities
- Process and manage non-complex personal auto insurance claims across multiple states
- Review claim files for completeness and obtain missing information when needed
- Communicate with policyholders in a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused manner
- Document claim activity and maintain accurate electronic claim files
- Coordinate appraisals, rental vehicles, and vendor services
- Establish and manage claim-related reserves following established guidelines
- Collect and support claim documentation
- Monitor claims through resolution and communicate next steps to customers
- Assist with inbound claim inquiries and identify files requiring escalation
- Meet performance and service metrics while maintaining quality standards
