The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking an Autism Diagnostic & Intervention Clinician to join their interdisciplinary diagnostic team in Springfield, Missouri. This opportunity is open to Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts who are interested in using their clinical expertise in autism evaluation, diagnostic collaboration, and short-term intervention. Working closely with a Lead Psychologist and other allied health clinicians, you will help complete comprehensive autism spectrum disorder evaluations, contribute discipline-specific clinical insight, and develop meaningful recommendations for individuals and families. This role may be a strong fit for a clinician who enjoys assessment, clinical reasoning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and helping families better understand an individual's strengths and support needs. This position combines diagnostic evaluation and direct clinical intervention. Baseline productivity expectations include approximately 8 evaluations per week and 8 hours of direct therapy. Therapy caseload expectations are adjusted relative to evaluation volume to maintain a balanced overall clinical workload. This role offers an opportunity to expand clinical expertise beyond a traditional therapy-only role, working alongside psychologists and professionals from multiple disciplines while building experience in autism assessment and intervention. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in autism diagnostics, receive ADOS and role-specific training, combine assessment with discipline-specific intervention, and help families better understand an individual's strengths, needs, and recommended next steps. The role is part of The Arc's broader work to increase access to neurodevelopmental diagnostic and treatment services throughout Southwest Missouri.
