About The Position

JUMPSTART AUTISM COLLECTIVE in ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO is looking to hire part-time Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with learners, children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays, providing center-based services in a supportive team environment. This entry-level position in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) offers an extensive paid training program that exceeds industry standards and includes earning a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. JumpStart Autism Collective utilizes a combination of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching (PT) to deliver effective services. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that is registered and insured.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required).
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

  • Interest in breaking into the fields of psychology, child development, counseling, social work, education, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays.
  • Provide center-based services.
  • Implement behaviorally based clinical protocols with fidelity.
  • Chart data and make data-based decisions within treatment sessions.
  • Assist in the maintenance of learner materials.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and treatment environment.
  • Utilize safe and appropriate crisis intervention and prevention strategies with all learners.
  • Implement customized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
