About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space develops next-generation aerospace and defense solutions that rely on immersive technologies to train, maintain, and operate mission-critical systems. The Augmented Reality Deployment Engineer will design, integrate, and field end-to-end Augmented-Reality/Virtual-Reality (AR/VR) applications that bridge CAD models, product-lifecycle data, and real-time user interaction. This full-stack role combines hardware troubleshooting, software development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-impact training and operational tools.

Requirements

• CAD proficiency (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Basic software development and computer science knowledge including coding/scripting (Python, C/C++, Java, GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Tech-savvy troubleshooter (IT/AR/VR hardware, software).

Nice To Haves

• Augmented Reality product experience.
• Product-lifecycle knowledge (development, manufacturing, quality, sustainment, etc.).
• Computer graphics & visualization (machine vision, game engines, etc.).
• Emerging-tech competency (particularly looking for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, and AI/LLM tools).
• Experience with creating and running training modules.
• Aerospace & defense industry experience.
• Data-gathering & analysis.
