About The Position

The Auditor reviews completed orders before products are loaded for transport to ensure accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet set timelines, and a commitment to working safely. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Dallas, Texas location. The position is full-time and pays $18.25 per hour, with no travel required. Novo Building Products manufactures and distributes stair parts, mouldings, doors, specialty millwork, and board products. The company operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork, L.J. Smith Stair Systems, and Novo Direct, and describes a commitment to positively impacting the people and communities it serves.

Requirements

Ability to productively perform all essential job functions, including the physical requirements.
Use proper personal protective equipment and company-approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
Basic math, interpersonal/teamwork, and reasoning skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous quality inspection experience.
Familiarity with building supplies.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Prior experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Verify orders are free of errors, including correct quantities, correct SKUs, and products free of damage.
Ensure banded units are built tightly and levelers are used effectively for safe transport.
Notify order pullers of errors so they can be corrected before transport, and alert supervisors to discrepancies, product-quality concerns, or safety issues.
Record daily audited order information in written and/or electronic logs.
Prioritize audits by reviewing high-priority orders before low-priority orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
