About The Position

The Auditor position is a full-time role responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls and state regulations within the gaming environment. This role involves detailed tracing of documentation, auditing numerical sequences, signatures, and other critical data. The auditor will also be involved in preparing revenue journals, reading slot machine meters, and managing coupon and ticket control procedures. Maintaining daily and monthly reconciliations, collaborating with other departments on new coupon programs, and investigating discrepancies are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role includes managing the security and ordering of coupon tickets, assisting with record maintenance, and completing special assignments for management.

Responsibilities

  • Traces documentation to summaries and audits numerical sequence, signature and other documentation for accountability and compliance with internal control submission and state regulations.
  • Prepares input sheet for daily revenue journals.
  • Participates in the reading of slot machine meters.
  • Institutes and documents control procedures for issuance and redemption of all coupons and tickets by computerized system.
  • Maintains a daily and monthly reconciliation by analyzing all outstanding items.
  • Works in conjunction with other operating departments in the execution of new coupon programs.
  • Investigates and reports any discrepancies with outlined control procedures.
  • Responsible for ordering and security of all coupon tickets.
  • Assists with lifting, storage, and maintenance of departmental records.
  • Completes special assignments for management as requested.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
