About The Position

Assist in performing compliance and operational audits of business operations at various EBCI properties. Assist in examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls. Assess compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standards. Contribute to a strong relationship with property mid-management and staff. Assist in presenting verbal and written results of audit activities various levels of management and staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably communicate to all levels of management.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and sound judgement at all times
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university, or a degree with sufficient courses in accounting and auditing strongly preferred.
  • Experience in gaming operations (slots and/or table games) preferred
  • Background in banking and/or anti-money laundering (AML) preferred
