About The Position

This role involves assisting in performing compliance and operational audits of business operations at various EBCI properties. The Auditor Staff will examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, assess compliance with regulatory requirements, and identify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standards. The position also contributes to building strong relationships with property mid-management and staff, and assists in presenting audit results to various levels of management and staff. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably communicate to all levels of management.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and sound judgement at all times
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university, or a degree with sufficient courses in accounting and auditing strongly preferred.
  • Experience in gaming operations (slots and/or table games) preferred
  • Background in banking and/or anti-money laundering (AML) preferred
