Provides support for Healthcare Services clinical long-term services and supports (LTSS) auditing activities. Performs risk-focused audits and analyses to identify member health and safety concerns, emerging patterns, and gaps in risk identification, mitigation, documentation, escalation, and follow-up. Contributes to an overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care. The role conducts audits and reviews of care management records, assessments, member-centered plans, risk reduction agreements, critical incidents, functional level service review assessments, residential placement activities, home and community-based services, care coordination, case notes, hospitalizations, workflows, reports, and other information relevant to member health and safety. It analyzes clinical, operational, quality, and utilization information to identify trends and vulnerable member cohorts; validates data quality and traces findings to source documentation; and communicates findings and recommendations to staff and leadership. The auditor documents findings, risk levels, recommended actions, accountable owners, due dates, status, escalation points, and evidence needed to confirm completion. The position follows up to verify that corrections or interventions occurred and assess whether they improved operational measures, member outcomes, or risk conditions. It also supports staff training and development of training materials or job aids, maintains confidentiality and detailed audit records, meets minimum production standards for non-clinical auditing, and collaborates with Quality and Healthcare Services leadership to resolve identified issues. The applicant must reside in Wisconsin.
