Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse license with a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND Seven (7) years of Nursing experience AND five (5) years of experience in the inpatient acute care setting.
OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience as an inpatient acute care setting.
Strong knowledge of auditing practices, ICD 10, PCS guidelines, quality initiative's, and MS-DRG and APR DRG methodologies
Strong clinical knowledge and application to coding
CCDS, CCS, or CDIP with seven (7) years of clinical documentation experience as an auditor / DRG validator
Ability to travel up to 25%
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in nursing, or other healthcare clinical background (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs and other electronic tools with current chart auditing skills
Knowledgeable in Solventum HIS software portfolio (360 Encompass)
Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs and excellent verbal, written, presentation, analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Collaborating with the coding and clinical team members and external clients includes content creation if necessary.
Perform audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment
Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives and ensuring professional, quality and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties and complying with corporate policies and procedures while acting in a manner consistent with Solventum's values and ethical standards
