About The Position

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Auditor for their Distribution Center Inventory Control team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of inventory counts and the compliance of inbound and outbound shipments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong basic math skills, and be able to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Communication – effective listening, speaking, and writing
• Reading and understanding computer printouts
• Ability to work in mezzanines and/or material handling equipment up to 50 feet high.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Regular attendance required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counts products in back stock locations using a hand-held radio frequency terminal.
• Audits outbound store containers for pick accuracy.
• Audits new vendor inbound receipts for compliance with Academy guidelines.
• Audits departing outbound store trailers for manifest accuracy.
• May also include a detail trailer audit for manifest and containers level accuracy.
• Required to learn company policies and procedures.
• Required to learn company safety rules.
