At our primary and specialty care clinics across the Denver metro area and Front Range, CU Anschutz School of Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers bring the latest medical knowledge and new advancements to the care they provide every day. CU Medicine also provides business operations, revenue cycle and administrative services to support the patients of CU Anschutz School of Medicine providers. We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Supervisor to join our Audit, Compliance, and Education (ACE) team. This job can be performed 100% remotely, and out of state candidates will be considered. Provide formal and informal coding and regulatory education to all attending physicians, residents, non-MD providers, CU Medicine coding, charge capture, and billing staff or other non-CU Medicine individuals involved with the billing for professional services. The education will include coding and documentation requirements as directed by Federal and State requirements as well as the AMA. Provide oversight supervision of auditing activities. Support varying operational and special projects to improve the overall effectiveness of coding and documentation compliance. Communicate effectively with other staff in our department and CU Medicine administration regarding compliance process, coordination of external audits, edit issues as it relates to coding and documentation. The individual in this role will assist the Audit Manager by tracking and using analytical reports to improve the effectiveness of processes and decision making throughout the Audit, Compliance & Education department.
