About The Position
Citizens State Bank is seeking a highly motivated Audit Specialist for its La Crosse location. This full-time, entry-level position involves assisting with deposit and loan account audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records and procedures. The role focuses on internal controls to safeguard bank assets and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. The Audit Specialist will report audit findings to management and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. Essential skills include excellent judgment, strong communication, attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to follow policy and regulations, multitasking, and working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. The position requires self-starters who can work independently in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and proactivity. Previous audit experience is not required, as training will be provided.
