About The Position

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join its State and Local Government (SLG) practice in its Mid-West Region offices. The SLG group is a rapidly growing practice area within CLA, comprising 600 professionals who serve over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Nice To Haves

SLG industry experience is a plus.
CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
