About The Position

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Partner to enhance their commercial audit capabilities within the Louisville Assurance practice. This role is based in the Louisville office with occasional travel. The Audit Partner will be instrumental in developing the Louisville audit practice, serving middle-market, private equity-backed, and public companies. The ideal candidate will possess experience in various middle-market commercial industries, such as Industrials (manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods) and/or Professional Services. This is a results-driven, market-facing position focused on practice expansion through leveraging a strong professional network and engaging in business development opportunities with firm leaders.

Requirements

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Experience with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm.
Demonstrated client service and business development skills, leading to growth.
Strong leadership and staff development skills.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.
Execute the Firm and Audit Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the Louisville audit practice, as well as support other leaders in their execution of the strategic plan.
Develop and coach professionals within the practice while building a talent pipeline.
Drive consistency, collaboration and communication among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory and Industry Leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
Help drive economic results throughout the practice as evidenced by key performance indicators.
