Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Professional Credentials: Active CPA license.
  • Experience: 5+ years in public accounting with experience in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate or commercial industry preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of audit and accounting standards, with the ability to apply these to a variety of client scenarios.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 20% during peak periods).
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Oversee non-public audits and reviews for clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate or commercial industry, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Expert Consultation: Provide expert advice on complex transactions, including business combinations, equity structures, and compensation agreements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements and related reports that inform key business decisions.
  • Research: Direct and manage research projects, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
  • Mentorship: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of experienced professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Client Management: Take charge of client relationships, delivering exceptional audit services and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to department-wide initiatives, including the implementation of new audit and accounting standards.
