The firm is seeking an Audit Manager/Director to join its Nonprofit practice in the Denver, CO office. This role involves taking full responsibility for planning, supervising, and controlling all phases of regular services for clients delegated by Principals. The successful candidate will assume in-charge responsibility, plan engagement timing, staffing, and execution to ensure efficiency and client value. They will lead decision-making for assigned engagements, keep the Engagement Principal informed, and develop a responsible and trained team through recruiting, assignments, problem-solving, staff consultation, performance evaluation, and professional development programs. The role also includes supervising the preparation of engagement letters, discussing terms with clients, estimating fees, evaluating internal controls and audit programs, and monitoring engagement progress against budgets and deadlines.
