CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Audit Director or Audit Manager to join their Manufacturing and Logistics Industry team in Carolantaville. This in-office role, based in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem, involves partnering with manufacturing organizations to deliver audit services, provide business insights, and assist clients in navigating complex challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management required.
  • CPA license certification is required.
  • Ability to help others and lead a team of high-performing people.
  • Ability to solve issues and confidently bring solutions to the table.
  • Enjoy working with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee audit and assurance engagements for CLA’s manufacturing clients, guiding them through all phases of the engagement lifecycle while delivering exceptional client service and value.
  • Drive engagement strategy, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key decision-maker for client engagements, proactively communicating progress, recommendations, and significant developments to Engagement Principals and client leadership.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams by recruiting top talent, providing coaching and technical guidance, managing performance, and supporting professional growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships by discussing engagement objectives, scope, timelines, and fees, ensuring a seamless experience from engagement letter through final deliverables.
  • Review and enhance audit programs and internal control evaluations, providing technical oversight and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Monitor engagement performance, budgets, and deadlines while identifying opportunities to improve processes, deliver insights, and create meaningful value for clients.
  • Facilitate impactful client meetings, presenting findings, recommendations, and strategic insights that help organizations make informed business decisions.
