The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services, as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Professionals in this team demonstrate deep specialization, understanding client market and business challenges, and a dedication to audit quality. Audit & Assurance is one of Crowe's largest practices. This specific opportunity is for talented professionals for full-time or seasonal work arrangements. The role involves leading multiple teams, gaining deep industry insight, and growing client relationships. With access to resources and executive leadership support, the Audit Manager will be responsible for client relationships, leading teams, providing performance feedback, anticipating and resolving client concerns, promoting new ideas and business solutions, continuing professional development, and staying updated on industry developments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
  • Experience in external audit working with Food & Commodities, Metals, Supply Chain, Cannabis, Healthcare, Technology Media Telecommunications, Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, & Manufacturing clients.
  • Organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills.
  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on completing assigned task.
  • Must be a licensed CPA in your aligned home office state or be able to acquire a reciprocal one for that state.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel to various client sites.

  • Responsibility of client relationships with a variety of clients to build positive relationships.
  • Leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams when engagements end.
  • Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
  • Continue learning the latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.
  • Staying on top of industry developments and their effects on client's competitive position.
