About The Position

Thomas, Judy & Tucker (TJT) is a leading full-service CPA firm with 35 years of experience providing audit/attestation and taxation services. We are seeking aspiring accounting professionals for a full-time audit internship starting in January 2027. This internship requires a 40-hour per week commitment from early January through early April and is designed for students not enrolled in spring semester coursework. Our interns gain valuable public accounting experience, actively participating in all parts of the audit process with a diverse range of clients in industries such as hospitality, real estate, manufacturing, professional services, non-profit agencies, low-income housing, and construction. You will have the opportunity to work closely with partners and managers, receive hands-on training with CCH Engagement software and PPC Checklists, and gain experience in financial statement preparation and review. Requirements

Aspiring accounting professionals.
Full-time commitment (40 hours per week) from early January through early April.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in all parts of the audit process.
Receive extensive hands-on training with CCH Engagement trial balance software and PPC Checklists.
Gain experience auditing large privately held businesses, 401K plans, governmental entities, charter schools and non-profits.
Gain experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
Collaborate and build professional relationships with TJT audit staff.
Cultivate a team-centric environment with fellow interns.
Provide client service interactions embodying the "TJT Way".
