About The Position

As a Las Vegas - Audit - Intern, you will engage in financial statement audits, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will support teams by participating in projects that enhance trust and confidence in financial information. This role offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to the audit process, helping clients focus on driving their business forward. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, conduct research, and participate in projects, all while observing professional work environments. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Chinese and English
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and assessments
  • Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate financial information and express informed opinions
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
  • Assisting in the application of accounting and financial reporting standards to uphold transparency and integrity
  • Engaging with the Chinese Business Network to support business growth and relationship development
  • Conducting basic research and data analysis to identify patterns and make meaningful conclusions
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance client support and deliver quality audit services
  • Developing a learning mindset and taking ownership of personal development through active listening and feedback
