About The Position
Cherry Bekaert, a leading accounting and consulting firm, is seeking an Audit Intern for Spring 2028 in Fort Worth. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the public accounting profession, build a solid foundation for a career, and work on diverse client engagements. Interns will apply accounting knowledge using firm technology, shadow audit professionals, participate in team-building and training, and contribute to a marketing or research project. The role also includes participation in social events like happy hours, lunches, and community service outings.
Requirements
- Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
- Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
- Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
- Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
- Participate in team building and training initiatives
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
- Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
