About The Position

An Audit Intern receives tools and training to develop professional skills and experience. The internship is structured as a learning experience that combines classroom theory with real-world applications. The Summer Internship Program lasts eight weeks during the summer, usually beginning in early June and ending in late July, depending on the department. The role is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Be a junior or in the year before graduation in an accounting program, depending on whether the program is four or five years.
• Be able to work in person in the office Monday through Thursday each week.
• Be able to work weekends as needed.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Be detail-oriented.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide and organize financial information.
• Prepare tax extensions, account analyses, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records.
• Complete administrative tasks as needed.
