This role involves working for multiple supervisors on various client engagements, applying accounting knowledge using Firm technology, shadowing Audit professionals, participating in team building and training initiatives, and contributing to a marketing or research project. Interns will also attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
Requirements
- Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
- Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
- Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position
Responsibilities
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
- Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
- Participate in team building and training initiatives
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
- Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
