About The Position
As an Audit Intern with Cherry Bekaert, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. This internship offers the opportunity to work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, and shadow Audit professionals. Interns will also participate in team building, training initiatives, and present on a marketing or research project. Additionally, there are opportunities to attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, community service projects, and other outings.
Requirements
- Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
Responsibilities
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
- Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
- Participate in team building and training initiatives
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
- Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
