About The Position

As an Audit Intern at Cherry Bekaert, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. This internship offers the opportunity to work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, and shadow Audit professionals. You will also participate in team building, training initiatives, and present on a marketing or research project. Additionally, interns are encouraged to attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.

Requirements

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
• Eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
