About The Position

This internship is for Spring 2027. The role involves completing all aspects of accounting, tax, and audit engagements for clients. Interns will execute a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, general tax regulation, general quality control auditing standards, and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments. The position requires adherence to engagement budget constraints and completing assigned tasks within the requested time. Interns are expected to strive to attain charge hour goals and participate in early practice development activities such as memberships in qualified organizations capable of referring potential engagements. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software
  • CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
  • Internship experience in accounting or related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including basic knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations

Responsibilities
