About The Position

InnovateEDU is a non-profit that accelerates ecosystem development and disrupts system challenges in education through policy, practice, and technology. We focus on bridging gaps in data and research to create an equitable, inclusive future for all learners. InnovateEDU invites qualified consultants or firms to submit proposals for a 12-month audit and tax services engagement.

Requirements

• Experience with education non-profits and audit/tax services.
• Experience with educational technology and policy-focused NGOs.
• Stable and senior audit team assigned to the InnovateEDU account.
• A "Pass" rating in their most recent AICPA Peer Review.
• Proposals must include: Firm/Consultant Profile, Case Studies (two examples of similar projects, specifically in the education/non-profit services), Proposed Methodology, Project Team Bios, and Detailed Budget.

Nice To Haves

• Minority-owned and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit proposals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an annual financial audit of InnovateEDU’s consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30th.
• Prepare Federal Form 990 and CHAR500 in New York State.
• Provide a robust Management Letter with specific insights into internal controls regarding digital financial tools and remote-work expense management.
