About The Position

Under the immediate authority of the Senior Director, the incumbent assists and advises the Senior Director responsible for the first line of defense distribution monitoring process and the quality assurance of individuals. He/she undertakes consulting, accountability, and governance mandates related to underwriting quality. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for managing various diagnostics, recommendations, and governance, particularly concerning fraud and access to information requests. You will realize yourself in the following functions: Consolidate, structure, clean, and analyze data related to underwriting and business quality activities (productivity, audits, trends, variances, strengths, and areas for vigilance). Produce accountability reports: monthly reports, quarterly and annual reviews, and presentations for various bodies. Identify trends and irritants, document findings, and formulate structured optimization recommendations (processes, standards, tools, practices, etc.). Advise the Senior Director regarding the plan and audit process of the VPDDAP – (VP - Direct Distribution of Individual Insurance) and proceed with its development. Participate in the evolution of tools, software, processes, and work methods, according to priorities established by the Senior Director. Act as an advisor to the Senior Director for the structuring and supervision of distribution monitoring activities and processes in the first line of defense of the VPDDAP and other activities within the Senior Directorate, including: quality program, incidents (including PRP), fraud, access to information requests, impact of regulatory watch, and other applicable regulatory obligations. Centralize and coordinate the collection of information and follow-ups required for audits, inspections, and regulator requests, at the manager's request. Ensure the traceability of analyses and recommendations, and maintain up-to-date and structured documentation (frameworks, methods, templates, follow-ups). Advise the Senior Director on various regulatory consultation exercises or market player consultations (e.g., the BAC). Collaborate on corporate projects related to underwriting quality and compliance, when required, at the Senior Director's request. Perform any other task at the request of their immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Hold a first-cycle university degree in a relevant field, particularly in law, administration, finance, or management.
  • Possess 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and audit processes applicable to property and casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
