Audit Analyst Intern
About The Position
Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between one of two sessions. Session 1: May 25 - August 13 Session 2: June 14 - September 3 Assists in the preparation of audit reports and presentations. Collaborates with team members to ensure timely completion of audit projects and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelors
- Entry level role, but some experience in a financial institution is beneficial.
Nice To Haves
- Internship in accounting or audit
- SOX experience
Responsibilities
- Planning, executing and reporting of assigned audits throughout the Bank
- Analyzing business processes and testing of internal controls according to Sarbanes-Oxley
- Performing assurance reviews at the request of the Board or Management
- Assisting in the Management Framework elements at the Bank and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit department
- Documenting testing in organized work papers
