About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Intelligence Systems (IS) is seeking a motivated and self-starting Audiovisual Design & Integration Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join a cutting-edge team driving innovation in government systems based in Herndon, VA. The Audiovisual Design & Integration Specialist will support system design, integration, and testing activities for complex government systems. This role involves collaborating closely with diverse engineering teams, program management, and customers to ensure seamless system functionality and mission success.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current FSP (Full Scope Polygraph) (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience (for Level 3)
  • Must be able to travel to various job sites as needed, sometimes using company vehicle.
  • Current, valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with system integration tools, documentation platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and test equipment
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience (for Level 4)
  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Experience with government or defense systems integration projects
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in classified environments
  • Relevant certifications in systems engineering or integration disciplines

Responsibilities

  • Support system design, integration, and verification activities across multiple platforms and subsystems
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, interface control documents, and integration plans
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to ensure operational readiness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and test engineers to resolve integration challenges
  • Participate in design reviews, test planning, and execution to validate system performance
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and government customers as needed
  • Maintain compliance with security, configuration management, and change control processes
  • Attend daily engineering and program meetings to coordinate integration efforts and report status
  • Maintain professional demeanor while working in high-pressure environments with senior officials and stakeholders
