About The Position

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Audiology Supervisor to manage our newborn hearing screening program who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Audiology Supervisor you will: Monitor and support day-day operations of the program to fulfill Our Main Thing via NBHS technician supervision, equipment maintenance; staffing; interviewing & onboarding new hires; annual employee performance reviews, interfacing with MBU and NCU staff/physicians/leadership, and monitoring state and national NBHS guidelines. Perform all duties of Audiologist(s) including review of newborn hearing screening results, parent consultations, infant screening when needed, and referrals to physicians and for diagnostic testing, as needed. Oversee State-mandated record keeping for the MD Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (EHDI). Employ Standard Management Approach for staff education, development and engagement. (via staff meetings, emails and text communications, as needed) Manage the Outpatient clinic for follow-up of babies who fail the initial NBHS

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Maryland license as Audiologist
  • Minimum two years’ experience
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
