About The Position

Audiology Concepts is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Audiologist to join their patient-centered practice. This role involves working with patients of all backgrounds, ages, and hearing needs through diagnostic testing, treatment selection, and fitting of hearing instruments. The Audiologist will collaborate with the Patient Care Coordinator to ensure an exceptional patient experience and long-term treatment. Strong communication with the leadership team and other employees is essential for success. This full-time position is based in the Edina office, with some services provided at a partner health clinic. Travel for trainings and association meetings will be required.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate in Audiology degree as required by state.
  • Valid Hearing Instrument Dispensing licensure (in good standing) in state of employment.
  • Valid Audiology Licensure (in good standing) in state of employment, where required.
  • Knowledge of multiple manufacturers' fitting protocols, software, and products.
  • Ability to work well in a team to help build and strengthen a successful clinic location.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Humble, hungry, and smart, with a clear track record of putting the team before self.
  • Demonstrated history of being a self-starter, organized, and proactive.
  • Excellent customer service with a calling for going above and beyond, helping others, and making them feel at home.
  • Willingness to help the team wherever needed.
  • Honest communication and professional vulnerability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments including air, bone, speech, and QuickSIN tests.
  • Perform tympanometry and acoustic reflexes.
  • Conduct Real Ear Measurements and HIT box measurements.
  • Perform hearing aid evaluations and counsel patients on the role of the audiologist in managing hearing loss.
  • Utilize effective motivational interviewing techniques.
  • Fit hearing devices using best practices.
  • Provide Tinnitus Management.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with patients.
  • Stay updated on all manufacturer's hearing technology.
  • Complete prompt and accurate charting and reports.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators.
  • Complete work for assigned committee meetings.
