About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing institution, constantly expanding the quality and reach of its care to patients and communities. This position involves identifying, evaluating, and rehabilitating audiological disorders and hearing loss in adult patients according to clinical competency. The duties require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel, and others to provide quality customer service.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Audiology.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate in Audiology.
• Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology granted by the American Speech –Language-Hearing Association or previously holding certification; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification with completion of CCC in one year.

Responsibilities
