Audiologist (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem)
About The Position
Dakota Hearing is seeking a compassionate, motivated Audiologist to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility in schedule and a supportive environment focused on patient care. The position is available as full-time, part-time, or per diem, depending on the candidate's preference. The Audiologist will be supported by an experienced team in Pierre, including administrative, scheduling, billing, and clinical resources. The Audiologist will have the opportunity to play a key role in expanding hearing healthcare services for veterans through the Veterans Community Care Network (VACCN), helping improve access to care for veterans throughout the region.
Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
- Current (or eligible for) South Dakota licensure
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a supportive and experienced team
Nice To Haves
- Approximately 10% pediatrics
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic hearing evaluations for adult and pediatric patients.
- Provide audiologic services for veterans through the Veterans Community Care Network (VACCN).
- Dispense and fit hearing aids with a focus on patient education and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing counseling, follow-up, and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
