About The Position

360care is seeking a compassionate Audiologist to provide audiology services to older adults and underserved communities in senior care settings. The role serves residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, with the aim of improving access to quality care, dignity, and quality of life. The Audiologist travels to facilities and sees patients on-site in a treatment room, conducts clinical evaluations, and makes clinical decisions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with compensation and a flexible schedule arranged around the provider’s availability. There are no evenings or weekends. 360care provides portable clinical equipment and supplies, a laptop, scheduling and billing, office and care-coordination support, and field mentorship from the Clinical Director.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Audiology (AuD); a master’s degree is acceptable for graduates before 2006.
• Strong background in hearing aid dispensing, fitting, and repairs.
• Audiologist in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• ENT experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultations.
• Provide comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations and selections, and hearing aid repairs.
• Dispense and adjust new hearing aids.
• Perform cerumen management where permitted by state professional regulations.
• Complete required patient and clinical documentation using the EMR system.
