About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join their team at FPN Lafayette Otolaryngology Associates in Lafayette, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing audiology services, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The Audiologist will need to work collaboratively with all providers and staff members to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. The role involves an average outpatient volume of 12-14 patients per day, mostly prescheduled with some work-ins as needed. Responsibilities include performing a full range of diagnostic hearing tests, obtaining case histories, administering diagnostic tests such as comprehensive audiograms and otoacoustic emissions, interpreting results to determine the nature and degree of hearing problems, and determining if additional testing or medical intervention is needed. The Audiologist will also consult patients regarding additional services such as hearing conservation, swim plugs, and assistive listening devices and programs, and make referrals for further diagnostic evaluation, therapy, and/or treatments.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Audiology - Required
• Audiologist (AUD) - State Licensing Board - Required
• CCC-A (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology) - ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
