Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Massachusetts’ Audiologist license.
- Attainment of the Certificate of Clinical Competence within six months of date of hire.
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Audiology.
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing problems and making decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all members of the healthcare team.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year Audiology experience.
Responsibilities
- Identifies, assesses, diagnoses, manages, and interprets test results related to disorders of human hearing, balance, and other neural systems for pediatrics through geriatrics.
- Evaluate auditory function of patients utilizing diagnostic audiologic tests that include, but are not limited to, pure tone and speech testing, immittance testing, and otoacoustic emission testing.
- Evaluate vestibular system with videonystamography (VNG) procedures.
- Perform advanced electrophysiologic tests that include, but are not limited to, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing, and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) testing.
- Interpret results and counsel patients regarding their test results to determine a course of treatment and review options that best meet their hearing care needs
