About The Position

This well-established, hospital-employed outpatient ENT clinic in Rutland, VT is seeking an Audiologist to join its growing team. This role supports patients across the lifespan—from pediatric to geriatric—delivering comprehensive audiological services focused on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of hearing and balance disorders.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited clinical externship required.
Eligible for or active Audiology licensure in the State of Vermont.
Eligibility for CCC-A or ABA Board Certification.

Nice To Haves

Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) preferred.
Master’s degree with relevant experience considered.
1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services related to auditory and vestibular function.
Assess and diagnose auditory function using behavioral and electrophysiological measures.
Evaluate vestibular function through clinical and electrophysiological testing.
Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and educational implications (particularly in pediatric cases).
Evaluate and fit amplification devices, including osseointegrated devices (adults only), with ongoing patient education and support.
Assess and manage tinnitus.
Educate patients on hearing conservation and noise protection strategies.
