Requirements
- Licensed Audiologist in the State of New Jersey
- Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Ability to work independently in a long-term care environment
- Professional liability insurance
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological screenings for residents
- Perform annual hearing evaluations
- Provide hearing aid adjustments and troubleshooting
- Document services in the facility’s electronic medical record system
- Communicate hearing care updates to nursing leadership
- Respond to occasional urgent hearing-related needs
