Their patient population is largely adult and geriatric, with a strong emphasis on relationships, trust, and long-term care. Cornerstone Audiology is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join their team. They are also open to experienced Hearing Instrument Specialists (HIS) who align with their patient-first approach. This role focuses on comprehensive adult diagnostics, patient counseling, and treatment planning, with opportunities to expand into hearing aids, cochlear implants, and tinnitus management. The ideal candidate values patient relationships, takes pride in delivering high-quality care, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The schedule is designed to support both patient access and work-life balance, including early Fridays.

Requirements

  • Au.D. or Master’s degree in Audiology OR licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • Texas Audiology license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a full patient schedule with attention to detail
  • A patient-first mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cochlear implant candidacy testing, counseling, and follow-up
  • Willingness to train clinicians with the right attitude and patient focus

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for adult patients, including: Pure tone and bone conduction testing, Speech testing (SRT, word recognition, speech-in-noise), Tympanometry and DPOAEs, Otoscopy and cerumen management
  • Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient-centered counseling, ensuring clear and practical communication of results and recommendations
  • Fit and program hearing aids based on patient needs (training available if needed)
  • Conduct cochlear implant candidacy testing, counseling, and follow-up (experience preferred but not required)
  • Support tinnitus evaluation and management, including counseling and device-based solutions (training available)
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and reports
  • Complete applicable documentation (e.g., VA, Texas Workforce Commission)
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
