About The Position
AudioNova is seeking an Audiologist, licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, or eligible Audiology Extern to provide patient-centered hearing care at its Mount Pleasant, Michigan location. The role involves assessing patients’ hearing, explaining treatment and hearing instrument options, helping patients use hearing technology, and supporting smooth clinic operations. The listed salary is $70,000–$80,000 plus commission.
Requirements
- Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Michigan.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Audiology preferred.
- Third- and fourth-year Audiology Externs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient hearing test assessments, analyze results, and recommend treatment and product options.
- Address patient questions and concerns about the benefits of hearing aid use.
- Discuss hearing instrument pricing and explain the value of hearing health care, services, and the long-term effects of hearing aid use.
- Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
- Teach patients to use new technology to meet their hearing goals.
- Repair, check, and clean hearing aids.
- Adjust fitted products and comply with company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and address patient concerns or objections.
- Work with clinic staff to ensure smooth office operations.
