Organization: Audiology - Adult Hearing Aids Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Evaluates, treats and counsels patients with hearing and vestibular disorders to improve communication function and postural stability under occasional guidance. Initiates collaboration with health care team to meet patient care, outcomes and system improvement objectives. . Audiologist – Adult Vestibular Focus Vanderbilt University Medical Center & Satellite Clinics Monday–Friday | Business Hours | No Weekends or Holidays Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist with a passion for adult vestibular and otologic care to join our collaborative clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a leading academic medical center while making a meaningful impact on patients experiencing hearing and balance disorders. Position Highlights Adult vestibular and otology‑focused audiology practice Interdisciplinary collaboration with ENT, neurology, and rehabilitation teams Combination of main medical center and satellite clinic locations Predictable weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
  • Tennessee audiology license or eligibility prior to start date
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC‑A) preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of relevant clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiologic and vestibular evaluations
  • Provide ENT diagnostic services and patient counseling
  • Develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans
  • Document care accurately and efficiently within the medical record
  • Educate patients, families, and care teams on hearing and balance disorders
  • Mentor Au.D. students and support clinical education initiatives
  • Collaborate across specialties to optimize patient outcomes
  • Completes full diagnostic hearing assessments using the appropriate testing method and equipment for the patient type, diagnosis, and reason for referral.
  • Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
  • Completes documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provides education/consultation to patient, family, health care team and community.
  • Enhances and impacts our knowledge of the nature of communicative and related disorders.
