About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Audio-Visual Technician. This is a full-time, contract position expected to last 4+ months, located in Charleston, SC. As an Audio-Visual Technician, you will perform installation tasks for audio-visual projects, including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication. You will also be responsible for the field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) with upload and download capability, and make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer. The role requires the ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks. Additionally, you will handle projector and screen support structure installations and test point-to-point functionality of systems.

Requirements

1-3 years of Audio- Visual installation & integration
Experience with installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron)
High School Diploma OR GED
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities
