About The Position

Senspex is seeking to hire an Audio Visual Specialist II for our team at the NTC in Ft Irwin, CA! The Audio Visual Specialist II produces high-quality audio/visual content for various client needs. This role involves researching, preparing, editing, and producing materials for closed-circuit TV or IPTV. This position collaborates with clients to determine the best media format for their requirements, selects music and sound effects, and oversees the production process. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or willingness to obtain a CDL
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
  • National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs
  • Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various audio/video equipment, including mobile units, teleconferencing suites, and field operations technology.
  • Editing: Edit, dub, and degauss audio/video materials using both linear and non-linear techniques.
  • Photography: Capture still images using standard cameras, lighting equipment, and proper techniques.
  • Computer Proficiency: Operate PC/MAC workstations and related software.
  • Production Assistance: Assist in the development and creation of new audio/visual projects.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and field personnel.
  • Documentation: Prepare required documentation according to established procedures.
  • Field Deployment: Operate equipment in support of field operations, including training exercises and military ceremonies.
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate motor vehicles on and off public roads, including in challenging conditions.
  • Live Event Coverage: Film live fire missions and other events as required.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the customer or supervisor.
