Summary: Performs and will set up and install media equipment such as LCD projectors, speakers, TVs, video monitors, and cameras. Technicians are integral members of the organization’s community as they work to support CBCI/FSRC's mission and vision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: • Installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of numerous Audio-Visual Systems. • Oversee operations and maintenance of systems in Entertainment venues as needed. • Coordinate with other departments and internal/external guests to ensure all AV needs are met, and events occur without incident. • Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems. • Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedures, including morning, evening, monthly, and lamp life checks. • Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly. • Carry out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments. • Maintain an accurate portable AV equipment asset inventory. • Managing designated videoconference & audio-visual facilities, systems maintenance, operations, and administration of client standards of video, audio, and web conferencing services. • Program and update Monitors and adjust Television programming, music selections, and in-house programming in public and back-of-house areas. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and often independently. • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. • All other duties as assigned.
